Property Developer Prosecuted Following Persistent Poor Standards
Following a long timeline of HSE enforcements a buy to let property developer and company director has incurred fines and costs totalling £40,000 along with a suspended custodial sentence.
The construction sites which the enforcements relate to showcased serious health & safety failings. These included anything from poor electrical safety, unsafe work at heights to inadequate welfare of staff.
The timeline of 10 years was enough ammunition for the HSE to enforce such a fine on the welsh property developers. The company pleaded guilty to breaching Section 3(1) of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
