HSE Carrying Out Spot Checks Across All Business Types
The HSE are continuing to carry out spot-checks across the UK including all business types to ensure they are COVID-19 secure with measures in line with the latest government guidelines.
These are on-site checks at business premises which will include running through the safety measures which businesses have in place.
The HSE has stated that immediate action will be taken with regards to businesses who are found to be neglecting their responsibilities for managing the risk of spreading coronavirus.
Advice and guidance will be provided to those who are in need of support, and where measures need to be implemented certain work practices will be stopped until they are made safe.
Enforcements and prosecutions will be taken against business who are deemed uncompliant.
